About Creo
We opened our workshop out of a lifetime enjoyment of learning how things are made — roasting beans, testing recipes, and visiting cacao farms in Ecuador. When we learned that chocolate is grown by rural, multi-generational family farmers, we felt a deep pull toward that same heritage of growing something by hand, so in 2014 we sold our family farm to bring real, farm-direct craft chocolate to our community. In our factory we roast, crack, winnow, grind, conch, and temper small batches by hand, always seeking the integrity of our ingredients and a real connection with the grower. Our family, their family, your family — connected, putting a face on chocolate.
